    I did it every year for years (none / 0) (#2)

    However I was never "in" with the Union and suffered the lost of employment because of it.

    The "non-traditonal" and Union appointed jobs went to the less qualified or kids of the Union staff.

    So during periods of a lay off,someone like me, who may have more senority and required skills would stay on lay off or sick leave making less money while the Union "brown nosers" would work
