For the most part, he's done a good job, but he has one vote that really, really, bothers me. That is the 2nd bailout vote. He voted no the first time, but voted for it the 2nd time. What bothers me most about it is that I did not expect it from Hoekstra. It's only one major black mark, but it is significant.

From a 2nd Amendment standpoint, he's very good. From a life standpoint, he's very good. Same with taxes. I don't know him (met him twice, seems like a nice guy), and will defer to some of the others there.
