Wasn't Harry Truman a Democrat? (none / 0) (#1)

Seems like I remember hearing that Harry Truman was a member of the Democrat Party back when the Democrat Party actually had some deep thinkers and people who worked for the People. Seems old Harry was famous for many earthy sayings. One of my favorites was " Never kick a warm turd on a hot day." Sound wisdom for sure. But he said that he was the leader and the chief executive of the nation and knew that he was the final arbitor and the final person that would be blamed if and when the government screwed up." The buck stops here." Was what he lived by. Seems as though the party that produced Harry Truman, Thomas Jefferson and Andy Jackson has changed. Today they honor and worship Carter, Clinton and other buck passing Liberals that screw up everything they touch. Never ones to take the blame for their actions it is easier to blame others for their failures. But after more then 6 years the Czarina needs to write a new speech. She may not blame herself but I believe the PEOPLE think much differently.
