      Speaking in favor of a tax increase, democratic county commissioner Brian Brdak stated, "It's something we definitely have to consider. There aren't a lot of other options."

      I wish he'd consider some of the other options, in this economy, it could be fatal, they might actually, tax some people to death.
      Raising Property Taxes, might be a good idea, if the goal is to tax everyone right out of Michigan, then sell it off to Canada.
      or
      If you want to push up peoples monthly mortgage payments to the point, where they can't handle it anymore and just walk away from the house and let the bank have it back.

      A good politician would try to avoid raising taxes
