Can someone please tell me why this is?
What is the thinking behind the unwillingness of the Democrats in the State House to bring this to the floor for a vote? Why?? What is the motivating factor?
Is it raw ignorance of how the economy works?
That seems unlikely since the Dems gave a massive tax break to Hollywood movie makers understanding that by doing so, more movies would be filmed here. So they admit that granting tax breaks can stimulate economic activity.
So then what is their motivation to kill such an excellent bi-partisan plan to boost our state's economy (an economy now on life support)?
I said a couple days ago that the Dems not only do not care about the common man, they detest him. It's all about power. Leave your constituents penniless and they then must rely on you, the politician, to throw them scraps for survival.
If there's a better explanation, I'd really like to hear it.
