I support those who cannot support themselves in old age. I think the discourse on this topic is so skewed, that nobody knows up from down these days. And not to be too simplistic, times have changed. It's no longer the norm for seniors to live with their children, as they may have moved away, etc. etc. It presents a difficult conundrum to modern political thinking.

I guess that is why I call my blog "some other viewpoint." Because many of the old ways of thinking aren't realistic anymore. We need to find a new way forward; a way to merge our ideals with modern times.
