      Yes, ironic and reflects the overall dysfunctional subculture of poorer blacks.

      It reflects a sub-culture that disdains education.

      It reflects a sub-culture that focuses on image over substance.

      It reflects a sub-culture that associates sex with achievement.

      It reflects a sub-culture that promotes stupidity as opposition to being "white."

      It is not the culture of black Americans; it is a sub-culture that has trapped many blacks in a cycle of self-destructive behaviors.  

      High abortion rates are a symptom of that sub-culture.
