A recent survey by the Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce and its partners in the West Michigan Chamber Coalition, consisting of the Grand Haven/Spring Lake, Holland and Muskegon area chambers of commerce, showed that nearly 60 percent of respondents saw their annual tax liability dramatically increase under the MBT. Ten percent saw their business tax more than double.
