    I was pretty gungho getting behind Keith Butler in 06, finally we were on the right track I thought. The guys raising money well and bringing in some votes we haven't seen since well since God mixed the language thing up. Also a ton of people from his church alone.  When I was talking in my neighborhood it became obvious that the Republican put their money where their mouthes were. I mean Colin Powell, Condi, Steele, JC Watts, if you were smart we had the tent big enough.  Trouble is our tent was too big because we let in stupid.   Well after E. Dole interfered in the process of picking a candidate. Wise choice?  Well we know who won the election.  We should be able to see the message it sent.  I'm venting I'm sorry it still rankles me.  What does Libby Dole know of city politics.  From under which country club did she come from?  Mike Bouchard?  I don't know what makes people think he's so hot after losing to Debbie.  I mean even though he has a thoughtfull daughter.  Her answers were kind of Miss America to me.  She seems much too busy to be a PD.  There all done venting.  
    Keep up the reporting, I love this personal stuff.  I too hate to see all the non-profits and special interests take such controll of things.  I'm sure Libby isn't,  probably a good source of campaign money.  They seem to be doing us a bang up job so far.  Nice to see McCain staying away from them and I love his earmark stand.  I just might learn to like this guy.  Anyway I'll try to do my part.  Again love the reporting you're doing.
