    House Bills 5841 to 5856 and Senate Bills 1168 to 1183. They are the same bills in both the House and Senate. In addition to the loans paid for by adding to the debt of Michigan taxpayers, the Michigan Busines Tax credits are refundable, meaning that the state will send checks to studios.

    This is a bipartisan package. One person who witnessed the hearing this weak said it looked like Sen. Jason Allen (R-Traverse City) was on the verge of crawling over the desk to make out with Mitch Albom. (I know - eeeew.)
