      When you get outside of Detroit and some pockets on the west side of the state like Benton Harbor, I think Michigan leans much more to the right. But because of the unions and, dare I say, the demographics of Detroit, Michigan goes to the Democrats. Granholm has been disastrous to the state from day 1, but she got re-elected. Michigan will, in all likelyhood, go for Obama. Why? Because when you create a nanny state where the people count on the Government for their daily needs, it creates a voting base. What, exactly, have any of our Democratic incumbants accomplished for our state? How have they earned anyones vote? 8.7% unemployment, unions doing their best to destroy the auto industry and a Senator that can only get back .92 cents on the dollar spent.
