What do they all have in common?  All strong supported by Granholm and all looking for work, all less than qualified to take on the positions that they are appointed to take on.  Andy Levin was a DC lobbyist for years before moving back to Michigan for the purpose of running for political office!

If it weren't for this report, I'm sure you would see Freeman Hendrix and Denise Illitch get appointed to a cushy government job by Granholm before too long (wait, Hendrix already did).

The governor smiles and talks in a soft voice and apparently that buys her a free pass with the media on everything (including murder, if you want to bring the incompetence surrounding the Ricky Holland and Patrick Selepak situations).  If John Engler did this, we'd still be hearing about it.
