  • Your New Scoop Site

    Welcome to Scoop!

To help you figure things out, there is a Scoop Admin Guide which can hopefully answer most of your questions.

    Some tips:

    • Most of the layout is changed in "Blocks", found in the admin tools menu
    • Features can be turned on and off, and configured, in "Site Controls" in the admin tools menu
    • Stories have an "edit" link right beside the "Full Story" link on an index page, and right beside the "Post a Comment" link on the full story page. They can also be edited by clicking the story title in the "Story List" admin tool
    • Boxes are what allow you to write new features for Scoop; they require a knowledge of the perl programming language to work with effectively, although you can often make small changes without knowing much perl. If you would like a feature added but cannot program it yourself, ScoopHost does custom Scoop programming as one of its services.
    • If you aren't sure where to look for a particular feature or piece of display, try the "Search Admin Tools" link in the admin tools menu.

It's Friday, time for one of my favorite CCR tunes.

"I longed in many ways to actually be in Vietnam and be representing our country there, and in some way it was frustrating not to feel like I was there as a part of the troops that were fighting in Vietnam," Mitt Romney speaking to the Boston Globe in June of 2007

Yes, a fine video of Willard's Vietnam Tour De Ferment made by a Paul supporter.  No rdww, I'm still not interested.

Alas, someone finally skewers all of Willard's water carriers in one concise video.

Promoted for discussion. Michigan's primary may matter. ~

George Soros, for those who may or may not be familiar with the name, is a bold advocate of communism and marxism, a convicted international felon, a world currency manipulator, an outspoken anti-American, one of the world's richest hedge fund billionaires that has gleefully invested untold millions of his personal wealth in support of Barack Obama, as well as dozens of other far left political organizations.

Thanks to the most recently concluded international financier conference held in Davos, Switzerland, we now know that Mr. Soros is "quite comfortable" with Mitt Romney becoming President in 2012, if he is elected.  In Mr. Soros's very own words, Mitt Romney & Barack Obama are virtually identical in governing philosophies, based on his one world, one-currency, anti-American, anti-Israel, pro-socialist viewpoint.

American citizens deserve a clear, bold, CHOICE between two vastly different world views in our upcoming 2012 Presidential election, not carbon copy candidates holding policy differences without meaningful distinctions.

    Rest here

This really illustrates why Sarah is still relevant today.  This also shows why some 5 years later that 70-75% of Republicans are still voting Not Romney.

Between Mitt 'everybody gets a trophy' Romney and his buddy John 'reach across the aisle' McAlzheimer leaving his '08 Romney dossier laying around, Obama may have just had his second term handed to him.
