    Believe me . . . (none / 0) (#4)

. . . I'm seriously considering it, if for no other reason than to toss a big ol' monkey wrench into things.  And if, by some act of Divine Providence, he beats the "anointed nominee" in August? . . . Think about it, a Democrat general challenger who's more conservative than the "Republican" incumbent.

That would really screw up the establishment's game plan, now wouldn't it?

Doing so, of course, would throw out any chance of us -- the constitutionalist insurgency -- running a "party specific" slate card for the fall general election.  We'd be in the position of explaining to our neighbors not only how to vote split-ticket (because 2 out of 3 don't even think that way), but why they should do so . . . in addition to whom to vote for in each race and why.

Are we ready for that logistical challenge?

    A new wrinkle . . . (none / 0) (#6)

. . . is that, effective January 3rd, 2014, Mr. McFarlin has switched his party affiliation, because his conservative populist platform is to conservative for the democrat ticket.  Apparently, he believes that he can get crossover support.

Curiouser and curiouser.  This could be fun.
