Calley, his governor, and some of the Republicans in the legislature sure do make it difficult for some of us to believe that they really give a damn about relentlessly positively improving our state. The Calley carve out sure doesn't lend itself to a positive view of relentless and positive unless it's to relentlessly and positively carve out special things for special agendas which is more of the same old b.s. we see from D.C.

Not to pile on too much, but I will. We have a perfectly good rich man who is willing to spend his money on a bridge and we get the taxpayer paid for union built Rashida Tlaib Commemorative Bridge. We get more taxes instead of less. We get demands to shell out for road improvements with no guarantees that the political class will quit taking campaign donations from the bridge builder lobby, pass RTW to lower road building costs, demand performance bonds from the road builder lobby, etc.

You give as good as you get when you come here to post and joust and I respect and appreciate it. When you come to sell us a health care idea, you must know that we are suspicious of all of you because, in part, we've heard all the promises that turn to crap and it doesn't matter whether the crap has an R or a D attached to it.
