    That may be a little bit of a stretch don't you think?

    I don't know about you, but I don't mind anyone facing civil infractions for their qwerty addictions while behind the wheel.  To qualify my statement, for an officer merely verifying the fact of a message being sent in front of the offender at the time of stop for a footnoted issuance of citation.  However, that is where it must end.
