    that the unions did not build/create/make a strong middle class.  It's a common misconception.  Any decent economics book should disprove the notion, as should and good, hard look at the cause and effect of union demands.  If you follow the money-trail all of the way, you'll see that artificially-raised wages only hurt the economy as a whole.  

    I'd get into a more in-depth explanation, but I have only one free hand (sleeping baby...).

    These are real issues, that ain't going to go away. The bear market will continue eating all your cash, unemployment will keep growing, and the quality of life for American workers will soon be reduced to what they have in third world countries. If they don't start coming up with policy that helps American industry instead of hurting it.

    "How does any company compete with a foreign market when sattled with a Federal Corporate Tax of 35%, State Taxes, in Michigan 22%, while the imports come duty free and no tax overhead?"

    "The slow demise of manufacturing in America has grown and the need of social programs from the Federal Government to prop up the American dream continued to grow, expanding deficit spending and hidden inflation."
