Hydrocarbons...have you ever heard of them? (none / 0) (#5)
by Ed Burley on Thu Jun 12, 2008 at 11:07:16 AM EST
Do you know what pollutants are? They are the by-product of burning stuff (like gasoline). Since gasoline burns, it contains hydrogen and carbons and then after being burned, emits the hydrocarbon particles into the atmosphere.

Once those particles cool, they fall to the ground, just like ash from burning any other hydrocarbon. One difference is that the particles from burning gasoline are smaller, and therefore, stay aloft for a longer period; but, eventually they fall to the ground. All solid particles eventually fall to the ground.

You know what they become when they fall to the ground? Fertilizer, natural fertilizer. That's what hydrocarbons do. They naturally fertilize the land - just look at forests after a forest fire.

Oh, I know - too much for you to comprehend. Sorry. Democrats can't seem to understand basic science.
