The shenanigans in Detroit are a perfect example of politicians watching out for politicians.

"Professional courtesy", if you will.

Kwame Kilpatrick. Had his hand in a number of shady dealings (i.e. Pay to play. Texting Scandal). Look how long he ran around before he was busted by the feds.

Monica Conyers. Selling council votes. Busted for Synagro dealings. Eventually served time in Club Fed.

Charles Pugh. Did inappropriate things with minors. Skipped town. Investigation by local law enforcement neatly swept under the rug.

George Cushingberry. OWI. Media caught wind of it. Dusted off old playbook and played race card.

Face it. Because of "Professional Courtesy", Schuette will sit on his hands and NOT bother to lift a finger in this case, nor any case for that matter involving another politician.
