      That's like arguing that a Christian judge should recuse himself in an employment discrimination case where someone was discriminated against because of his Christianity.

      In states where initiatives/referendum were passed that changed the law to allow same sex marriage, and those initiatives/referendum are challenged, should heterosexual judges have to recuse themselves too, since they might be trying to change that state's definition of marriage?  Of. Course. Not.
