Bloated through clueless elected officials who wouldn't think twice about shoveling yet even more money into the maw of the institutional learning facilities and those same officials promoting easing of the access to credit, causing the massive amounts of student debt alluded above that NEGATE the positive effects of the vaunted piece of paper they advertise so strongly, the education establishment is due for a rude awakening when they price themselves out of the market.
