      . . . is one of the 28 jurisdictions that I've verified against the official records, and using the Maine Variant of the CDM, would have split 9-to-7 for Romney.  (Using the proposed Virginia Variant, we would have split 11-to-5 for Romney.)  The congressional districts in Michigan went for POTUS the same direction that they did for the U. S. House.

      According to an mLive article back on December 18th, Pete Lund will be re-introducing the legislation that he introduced back in 2011, which will move Michigan to the Maine Variant of the Congressional District Method.  I suspect that it'll get more traction this time around.
