      The arguments I have heard from some in the legislature, is that with the 2/3rds in place they would not have been able to deal with the MBT.

      Of course you correctly point out the MBT wouldn't be an issue in the first place.

      Something else, is that when the chips are down and some things have to be cut, there might actually be a realistic cost benefit analysis on the MEDC type efforts.  That would  be a good thing.
