      If you would demand perfection out of a judge in order to be qualified to sit on the bench, I dare say that no one less than the Lord himself would be qualified.

      I challenge you thus: pick a judge whom you admire.  Now think if there has ever been a decision of his/hers with which you disagree.  If you are being honest, I don't care you you pick, the answer is going to be of course there is a decision (and likely multiple decisions) that you think was/were wrong, and perhaps even mightily so.  I could choose Scalia and still be disappointed every once in a while.

      So, yes, you can keep going back to this one decision, and that is fine--I still find it totally inapposite to judging anything about how MBK has performed as a Justice on the MSC.  And more pertinent here: again, it tells us nothing about Markey or O'Brien that will help people make decision this weekend--and that really is the pertinent point that started this whole blog post/series of responses in the first place.
