      I've spent enough time in Georgia recently to have been overexposed to the T-Splost controversy.  Atlanta is a city choked with traffic.

      Yet, the government's advertising campaign didn't match up with the goals of its programs.  It touted the t-splost as paying for badly needed road projects necessary to unlock traffic--all the while it actually targeted more than half of the billions of dollars raised onto transit.

      People don't trust government.  I wonder why.
