But, I guess that half-way point to a New York and California agenda deciding elections is to be ignored 'cause Fred is in town rubbing elbows with Spence La Raza for the establishments Anyone but Hoekstra candidate Durant.

Very uninspiring election year for Michigan .. again.

When will "outsider" republicans ever learn?

After months of patient negotiations, a general settlement was reached in late 1985. The State of Michigan paid Durant, as trustee for the estate, $4.75 million representing monies due the railroad, and it sold the rail road to the estate for $1,998,000. The negotiations also disposed of more than 15 separate lawsuits and arbitration appeals. These actions clarified MI's right to operate the railroad and ended years of antagonism.
In addition, Michigan gave the rail·road a $500,000 rehabilitation grant, to go along with a $2.4 million low-cost FRA loan Durant had been able to negotiate in Washington.

      Did Clark talk about that?

TEA folk prolly won't like the Prosperity for Michigan PAC associations either... a hint.
