      As far as I'm concerned, a '67 Riots opportunity was lost.  Snydholm already let an elected deadbeat, a tax cheat and roughly 200 of their closest militant malcontents exit the isle.

      About 200 people rallied this afternoon on Detroit's Belle Isle against a proposal for the state to lease the island from the city and operate it as a state park with a possible entry fee.

      "Hands off Belle Isle!" the crowd chanted after Councilwoman JoAnn Watson spoke at the rally organized by Councilman Kwame Kenyatta.

      Stick it to them bastards handing over money!  No justice - No peace!

      That's what Detoilet habitually elects.

      F#@% that city.  Bulldozers.  Lots, and lots of bulldozers.
