Because you have the capability to insult, does not mean you are correct. You have a different understanding of the truth. Your snide remarks are no better than what you are claiming to criticize. Piss off and go hide like the troll you are under the new bridge you want for all I care. we are merely presenting the truth here. You can process all the propaganda you want, but I can tell you this, my paycheck isn't tied to it like your own might be.
So for now lets merely look at the facts. What are the results of a bridge built with Canadian dollars? Under what scenario could there be any other result, but that in the end, Canada owns the new bridge?
How does that help Michigan business?
In traffic flow? For manufacturing? How? Do a real analysis. Show us. Don't just guess.
you wish to assume?
OK.
Assume simply that the money controls the construction process, the lack of private interest (there is no way any legit business would want to invest with Canada on this unless there is a scheme to shut off the current bridge) would mean Canada alone controls the dollar spigot. It means Canadian workers, NOT Michigan workers.
And after the new bridge is open, and the debt service is too high for current toll amounts, what must the new owners (Canada) do to correct the problem? I'll just wait here a second while your budget intellect comes up with an alternate reality.
Ding ding.. times up.
They will raise rates. Dramatically.
Its how government operates. Not enough money? Raise fees and taxes.
But only after the possibility for REAL competition has been dealt with properly, by placing a concrete blockade across the Canadian side of the DIBC. A continuation of the low crossing fares by Moroun sure would suck, huh?
Right.
And if you are really having a hard time reading this, it helps if the cranial rectal inversion you seem to be suffering from, is cured.
