The MI-GOP Defends Presidential Primary Voter Fraud
by Caro Tea on Monday, March 12, 2012 at 2:21pm ·
This is an email received that attempts to blow off and legitimatize the criminal, unethical, immoral and treasonous acts of a group of political party members and a known high profile candidate to fix a National Presidential Primary Election for the United States of America. The facts have clearly been distorted to mislead the reader into believing that everything is fine and that its all under control. Well, everything sure is under their control, however matters at hand are anything but fine.

Special Message from Chairman Schostak
Dear Republican Party activist, tea party organizations, 9-12 groups and all conservatives across Michigan:
[Note that everyone is not addressed as simply fellow Republican. This s a passive admission that the party knows that not everyone is in this with the best interests of the party at hand. For those of you who have been trying to fool the GOP, umm, it didn't work.]
As most of you know, I care deeply about the "family" of activists I address in this letter.
I ran for this position so that together we would bond ourselves to the basic core values we all believe in so deeply as our purpose for existing. Specifically, conservative policies are pursued by our party with accountability and fairness and that I would be a chairman that would engage the grassroots, making them, (all of us), the priority, and serve in an open and honest way throughout my tenure.
[Vague statement. What core values? Whose Core values. Assuming that we all have the same core values. Vain attempt to warm to those in opposition to the events in question.]
It is with this as a backdrop that I address you today.
There has been a lot of heated discussion about decisions made by the credentials committee, (which I sit on), regarding the awarding of the at-large delegates.
Since the presidential primary election last Tuesday, I've spent hours speaking and emailing with hundreds of Republican grassroots activists throughout the state regarding the decision by the credentials committee. I thank all of you for your time, candidness and most of all, the overwhelming support - not only toward me, but more importantly for your support of the Michigan Republican Party.
[The events which took place blindsided most voters who did not know what was taking place until after the fact and the response was a harsh and loud outcry to what happened. This statement is self serving, misleading, deceptive, and draws the reader away from the facts and true nature of the matters at hand.]
As some of you may know, due to a request by one of the presidential campaigns, the process and dispute over a single delegate may be reviewed by the Republican National Committee and/or the Committee on Contests. Rest assured, whatever decision the Republican National Committee or the Committee on Contest chooses to make, we will not appeal, we will accept it.
[And the voters should find great comfort in knowing that you will go along with whatever decision another committee makes why? If you did nothing wrong then you should fight aggressively and relentlessly for your honor and dignity unless of course you began this matter without those components intact.]
However, that does not address how this issue came about and more importantly ensuring that in the future, this issue never reoccurs.
When I ran for chairman, I promised that when I leave the chairmanship, the party will be stronger than it was before my tenure. My observation is that this entire dust-up could have been largely avoided if the decisions made by the credentials committee were communicated more clearly and timely to the state committee.
[The Republican party is stronger now than before you became Chairman. Every other self proclaimed patriot has been pulled into the GOP and kept busy with campaigns and elections instead of holding the elected in office accountable and subjected to the disciplines of the people. It is now even more resistant to change back to when the Constitution was written and signed and our Founding Fathers admonished against political parties, which they so strongly warned and admonished against and have historically declared would be the downfall of our great Nation!]
Therefore at the next Michigan Republican State Committee meeting, I propose a resolution be adopted to improve the communication between the credentials committee and state committee.
[This simply means that in order to prevent this from blowing up in our faces again, lets change the rules some more and make sure we have our stories straight so what we are doing is not as obvious next time. The GOP must be better insulated next time.]
All decisions by the credentials committee should be brought to the attention of the all state committee members within 24 hours of any vote.
[Where in any of this does the consideration of the voter take place? Further, not one place anywhere in this document other than this bracketed commentary does anything suggest giving decision to the voting public by legislation or ballot proposal decided by the registered Citizens of Michigan as a respectable reform to eliminate and protect this form occurring again. Further, not one place does any of this even at least suggest at least a compromise and attempt to establish policy preventing the change of rules fourteen days (14) days before any election to protect the integrity of any election form the appearance of impropriety.]
I am also proposing that a special committee be comprised of each district chair, to make any further suggestions to avoid these mistakes in the future.
This special committee will provide its list of suggested changes no later than July (next stand alone state committee meeting).
[Lets create some more bureaucracy and committees to complicate things and muddy the waters so that we can continue to operate freely under the radar and scrutiny and accountability. While we are at it, why don't we place members of the tea parties and 912 groups on this committee so they can take the fall for us.]
These changes are meant to augment the important decisions of the credentials committee and are by no means intended to disrespect the existing credentials committee and its members. I know we all have the greatest respect for its current members, and while there were some disagreements, I know they all acted in good faith and no one questions their integrity or honesty.
[Umm, the honesty and integrity of the credentials committee is being challenged. Is the implication here that anyone who does is a nobody? Shame on you Bobby.]
Furthermore, there has been a lot of talk about "assigning blame," and though there were errors, I have and will continue to refrain from looking to blame any person or persons and as the chairman of the Michigan Republican Party, whether it is fair or not, take responsibility for any errors in communications, process or execution of the decisions that were made by the credentials committee.
[Hmm defuse accountability and then minimize the seriousness of the wrong by blowing it off as error? Folks, they willfully and intentionally conspired WITH a known candidate in meeting prior to an election where there was an altered outcome to which that candidate directly benefited from and this is simply an error how? Nobody should care if there was two or fifty confusing emails explaining any of this before the polls opened. NONE of this should have ever happened.]
I appointed the members, hence the responsibility for running a good committee falls on me and not the individuals on the committee. I take the responsibility for the miscommunication on this issue.
I feel, I also must address comments of mine that have been reported by the press and used by certain individuals to undermine the Republican Party. Personally, I did not communicate the intent of the credentials committee clearly. I continually reiterated that Michigan's primary allowed any candidate to compete with the chance to win delegates. However, I answered off the cuff quickly and misspoke.
[People speaking out against what is taking place in the political parties are not trying to undermine the political parties. People are trying to make the truth be known and this is something that is detrimental to the political parties. Political science 101 teaches the making of political statements using careful wording with the intent of plausible deny-ability. The very fruit of his public, statements, the cause and affect of the action in this matter raise serious doubt as to the honest intent and is supported by the altering outcome of the election, as was the designed result of their action and intent.]
I cannot take back or change those words and I won't start or try to split hairs over my choice of words or offer any excuse. I misspoke and was reminded the hard way the importance of being careful while addressing the media.
I have and will do my 100% honest best to serve as your chairman. I apologize for my error because I am truly honored to serve as your chairman, but I will not apologize to those who seek to use any mistakes in this situation to fracture our party or to discredit my intentions.
[A true apology is dominated with repentance. True repentance isn't being sorry. Nobody knows if you are sorry you did it or sorry you got caught. True repentance is proclaiming you did it and will never do it again!]
Sadly, there are folks trying to use our intra-party dispute for personal gain. That is wrong. It is disrespectful to all of you, to the presidential campaigns, to those in our party who deeply care about our values, and worse yet in the end it will only serve to assist our opponents in November.
[This statement is dangerous and inciteful, as it intends to polarize the political party loyalists against those who have aligned themselves with the party to affect change. The writer of this email has no position of credibility to define right or wrong for any purpose other than to mislead and shift the focus away from all guilty persons. This misleading is propped up by further demonizing anyone who dares speak out against this matter be declaring that they are being disrespectful to everyone. Anyone who speaks out with the truth and against the party is the wrongdoer subject to correction and not those under scrutiny by the overall Citizenry. Still unclear about those values that keep being mentioned.]
There is a lot at stake this year. The progress made by our Republican leadership in Lansing is up for grabs including our Republican led state house, the rule of law majority on the supreme court, congressional seats across Michigan, a U.S. Senate seat and of course, the control of the White House.
[The concern here should be for the Constitution and the future of the United States of America and NOT for the power structure positioning of the political party. Clearly the high ranking leadership of the political parties don't get it folks.]
This issue is deeply important to me and I hope to continue to speak with members of our grassroots about other ideas in order to never allow this to happen again, however, I will also not allow those who seek to disrupt our party to be successful. While continuing to discuss this issue with members of the grassroots, I will continue to work hard each and every day to advance our cause, spread our message, raise the necessary financial resources and defeat President Obama's radical agenda.
[folks, that bold underlined statement is a very carefully disguised threat. Read it and re-read it and tell me how he is gonna stop anyone who refuses to stop proclaiming the truth. Use your imagination based on the Chairman's own words which he signed below.]
As always, do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns.
I look forward to working with you, shoulder-to-shoulder, as we fight on to November.
Thank you and God bless,
Bobby Schostak
