Go back and re-read this article, meathead, including the memos linked therefrom. Specifically read in detail the February 7th memo from the MIGOP Credentials Committee to the RNC. Said memo was drafted by Eric Doster, Legal Counsel for the MIGOP, and a highly-regarded election law attorney. Just what do you think that the plain explanation of the rules is, then?

You're right to this extent: the rules were never changed . . . prior to the actual election. Team Romney at that point seemed to believe that they'd walk off with a majority of the congressional districts, so splitting the at-large portion of the delegation was no big deal.

But once it became obvious that the result produced by the rules was not going to be the desired one . . . well, the evidence is pretty plain that the rules were re-interpreted.

I don't want to go here, but how is the inspection going? You know, that personal self exam of where the sun doesn't shine?

To miss the absolutes that are in WRITING and STILL POSTED at the RNC site, buttressed by the very clear AUDIO of Schostak screwing his future self, along with the voting Attorneys saying "We don't support the change" .. well?

One wonders if the fire must first burn off your arms and legs before you ask for a glass of water.

Doster wrote most of the original stuff. He's one of the best election attorneys out there. When he votes a certain way, I pay attention.

And I say this as someone who considers Saul a friend. I also highly disagree with his vote and reasoning, but that's another story.
