      Yeah, ended up finding the statute myself when I got some time.

      Ended up talking to a friend of mine who does work here in Lansing, and he indicated $200-1k damage is still a misdemeanor for malicious destruction of property. Don't know how much damage was done to the tent, but I'm thinking it was less than $1k.

      I've also been contemplating whether force against those tearing down the tent could be justified. After all, people were indeed inside the tent when it went down, and could have been seriously injured as a result (fortunately they didn't).
