      I seem to recall you had your P number, so I figure you might be able to shed some light on the situation with so called citizens arrests.

      Does Michigan statute address such a thing (I haven't had a chance to look), or is it a more common law thing, or a combination of the both, or some make believe fiction?

      Depending on what Michigan statute says, or what is agreed upon in common law, it seems like we would have had grounds to detain the people bringing down the tent - especially given the potential for significant harm to those inside. Flex cuffs are cheap.
