      He made an excellent point.  USDA was running ads on Mexican tv to entice illegals here by way of food stamps.  Who in the hell thinks, that once they are here via amnesty, that they are going to vote for the R's.  Reagan gave amnesty during his term, two years later GHW Bush runs for president.  Despite granting amnesty with Reagan, Bush garnered 7% less Hispanic votes than Reagan. They are here for freebies not freedom to prosper thru hard work.  

      My son-in-law is hispanic but he is 3rd generation.  His entire family is all conservative because they came here in the 50's as migrant pickers and eventually worked hard enough to earn their citizenship.  They speak English only and they pride themselves on the service to their country, they are teachers, plumbers, accountants, business owners.  What we have here in the country now are moochers who will never embrace the American way.  

      Rush had several hispanic callers today who are conservative and they tell him the newbies to the USA will never vote R because of the freebies.  So we are never going to convince an almost 60% hispanic democrat voting block to suddenly embrace conservatism.
