Maybe not on the word "fag", but on the fact that the homosexual community is hardly a protected class.  If I was to be consistent, I would have to argue that the use of the word "fag" used as a pejorative could NOT be considered bigoted.  

Like the lefties who tried to get me to resign, or be 'censured', you presume to silence those who openly violate your sense of propriety; one that is founded upon a generation of relativity.

remember that simply calling any particular group a 'bad name' is NOT being bigoted.  Usually it is simply a label that conveys a dislike for the group (based on nearly ANY reason) and categorizes them.

As an example, for your efforts at making yourself important to some political figures no matter what their political core might be, I might label you a "boot licker".  Now could someone say that I am being bigoted?  I suppose if all the boot lickers in the country stood together and demanded their 'pejorative free' rights too.

Fag is a fast way to describe homosexuals, or it can be used as a 'burn' (insult) to those who are not.  One has freedom of speech thought still, and no amount of indoctrination of our masses will change the fact that blood, feces, and urine in and on places it ought not be is dangerous and a perversion of the reproductive process. The insulting part of course being labeled as someone who reminds another that they share some of the perverse attributes often exhibited by those who engage in that perversion.

The CDC in this chart below, shows the occurrence of HIV by class, that pretty much puts the dot to the exclamation point why it should remain classified as a perversion:

• CDC estimates that MSM account for just 2% of the US population, but accounted for 61% of all new HIV infections in 2009. MSM accounted for 49% of people living with HIV infection in 2008 (the most recent year national prevalence data are available).
  
• In 2009, white MSM continued to account for the largest number of new HIV infections of any group in the US (11,400), followed closely by black MSM (10,800).
  
• Young, black MSM were the only risk group in the US to experience statistically significant increases in new HIV infections from 2006-2009--from 4,400 new HIV infections in 2006 to 6,500 infections in 2009.
  
• Since the epidemic began, almost 300,000 MSM with AIDS have died, including an estimated 6,863 in 2009.
  

Butt hey (pun intended) .. Its ALSO another perversion that contributes to disease, but note the underlying message that the heterosexual contact particularly for women can now be dangerous.  PLEASE try to argue that it is as bad in the hetero community. Heterosexuals and Injection Drug Users also continue to be affected by HIV.

• Injection drug users represented 9% of new HIV infections in 2009 and 17% of those living with HIV in 2008.
  
• Since the epidemic began, more than 175,000 injection drug users with AIDS have died including an estimated 4,759 in 2009.

Anyhow, the point is You are born a swede or not born a swede.  If one uses a pejorative to define those hated swedes, I suppose it could be considered bigoted.

Back in my day before the millennial were completely indoctrinated by the academia class, the term "fag" (or the term gay for that matter) was used as an insult much like the word "bitch" is today for males. A male who isn't acting like a man. An example from the movie Under Siege:
Gary Busey - "I can see why you are a cook. You hit like a faggot." Gasp. The word faggot was used.

Does that mean the character who uses it hates all homosexuals? No. It was used as an insult. No more. No less, much like a million other terms with the same meaning if I want to harken back to my high school days and name them off.

Inks post here reminds me of the white progressives going crazy about a word so they can pat themselves on the back about how tolerant
they are as they flee diversity when "those people" move to their neighborhood. The progressives then bring their cancer to the next neighborhood and ruin that.

Sometimes I agree with Scales. Sometimes I don't. What I respect about Scales is that he doesn't give a damn what anyone else thinks.
