To me this goes beyond the holding off of protesters and making people happy.

It stinks of something far worse, and if Republicans wish to hold any kind of moral high ground, they had best investigate it at the very least. While this may satisfy the left which has wanted this super size private property made more 'governmental' for years, it still could be used to insinuate that Republicans are even more corrupt than the natural state of Dems.
