Part of the problem that McCotter confronts in his district is that, even with the map redrawn, he confronts active and virulent union opposition. I think he tries to balance his more conservative leanings (pro gun for one) with the reality of what he has to work with in that district in terms of voters.

I'm not happy with his behavior and do not see how he can continue to portray himself as a conservative with his votes on the debt ceiling and support for Obamney. I have to ask myself though, if he is the best we have in the 11th, would we want to vote for a real democrat who will definitely vote against everything that conservatives believe in and demand. A tough one. Worse than that choice is, if Romney is the choice to go against Maobama, do we sit it out or hold our noses and let Maobama finish his dirty work. Even a blind squirrel finds the acorn once in a while.

The MIaGOP, I think, definitely hates the TEA Party and will never give us anything but Romney, Snyder, Hoaxtra, and those on the wall of shame. Some choices.
