. . . Gary Glenn (Midland) is also clearly in it.

the Michigan Tea Party will be smart, however, after a 60+ comment section on Detroit Public Schools, including comments from Rep. McMillan, I do not hold out much hope for the Republican party here in Michigan.  Bunch of pansies unwilling to take a strong stand - they just want to go along to get along.

There is no need for the Michigan Tea Party movement to coalesce behind any one GOP candidate for the U.S. Senate, and especially not before the May filing deadline!

We have at least four strong possibilities in Gary Glenn, Peter Konetchy, Clark Durant, and Pete Hoekstra (I know nothing about the others named above).  Let them take their campaigns and their message out across the state and see what happens!

This lockstep need that the MIGOP has to short-circuit the primary process drives me nuts.  Primary campaigns are important, and especially so this year.  The premature push to "get behind" one GOP POTUS candidate in 2008 gave us the disastrous John McCain.  Please, let's not do that again!

Keep in mind that senate candidates need 10,000 signatures, so not all those listed will even make the ballot.  You can only sign for one candidate.
