I thought about what you said with the Calley deal.  I was there.  Heine was too. As you probably were.  Foregone was foregone. Maybe it would still be.

It comes out of how the rules get set up, and also how the delegate system works.  Then there is the travel.  Local caucusing would be better for all potential republican voters, and believe me, we know who the lefties are up here.  It ALSO adds a social element that may clear the air on some candidate stands.
