      . . . the policy committee isn't the full MIGOP State Committee.  And with all due respect, Saul's "several months of discussions" and "significant amount of input" is more than a tad exaggerated.

      That's the whole point of these public policy forums.  The decision isn't a done deal yet, and the process hasn't been anywhere near as open as has been claimed.  The reality of the matter, so far as I know, is that the establishment old guard wants a primary (and remember that "closed" isn't closed) because . . . well, I'll just let you put the puzzle pieces together.
