      Who are the NERD fund donors Mr Snyder?

      that should have been caught earlier.

      In fact, the brownfield situations all over the state reveal a number of challenges to our groundwater, and resulting costs to local communities (tax abatements for BF status etc..) Ground water contamination is something I care about.  Typically its effect goes beyond the polluter and is sometimes hard to assign responsibility for.

      One trash heap has resulted in quite a few locals with NO drinking water.  If I am not mistaken, it could have been identified and dealt with sooner with better testing procedures.  Given the nature of the relationship to the tax as a user type cost, it is more appropriate than say, a gas tax used to pad the general fund.

      However, I would be interested in knowing if it is a design to raise cost of trash to a recycle only mindset.
