If it were so easy.  The problem is the fact that there ARE bad guys who have access to our kids who abuse these things.  The small inconvenience of not being able to buy mass quantities at a time of cold medicine is not too much of a battle worth considering IMO.  If it had a greater message that spoke to constitutionality, then its something worth time taken to parse all the consequences.  As it is, I see a legitimate place for some oversight.
