    ...then why was Transportation Sec. LaHood bending over backwards to insulate the states accepting the money from any possible liability?

    I can't help but wonder what taxes Gov Snyder will have republicans raise when the cost overruns and subsidies associated with these train projects kick in.

    We're already going to get a kick in the you-know-where once this project gets started.

    Better question; given the condition of our roads and bridges, if Washington has all this money just lying around, why aren't we using it where it will do the most good?

    More people use the roads than trains.
