      . . . you'll get no argument out of me, Scales.

      While I will always grant that we really need to do something constructive about the inherent instablility of America's currency, the flip side of that coin is that no one that I'm aware of actually has a useful plan for how to make that happen.  (This is why I really want to know how Herman Cain wants to go about putting America back on the Gold Standard, because that's the right thing to do.)

      Of the nine candidates currently in the field, Cain is the closest thing I've seen to the second coming of Reagan . . . period.  The only other candidate currently in the running that I would even think of supporting at this point is Tim Pawlenty (and I really think that he'd be a great running mate for Cain).  None of the other seven, in my opinion, are sufficiently credible.
