I make $12/hr, but I can tell you all the additional benefits make up for it. 401(k) match up to 3%; paid insurance (as in, they pay all the premiums) for vision, dental, health; Free Food Fridays, where they cater in lunch for ALL three shifts; and just a generally fun work environment (the occasional nerf war will break out in support).

The beautiful thing? If I'm a rockstar, I have the ability to get compensated for it. A couple of weeks into the support gig, I got dual 23" monitors, presumably for being good at what I do.

Union shop? I'll pass. I've worked in that environment, and despite being a rockstar there, I couldn't negotiate my own wage. With that, the unions wanna talk about workers rights? Please.
