I can understand Rep. Lori's frustration with this sponsored legislation.  He was a lawman and has seen firsthand how defense lawyers and liberal judges turn the dregs back loose on the streets because there's scant little money to be made off 'curing' junkies in the system in comparison to the DUI moneymaker.

Also, if 'We the People' are going to idly sit around allowing the Feds to leave the borders open then state legislatures have little recourse other than to propose these such overreaching band-aid laws.  I mean when you look at the DEA Most Wanted list for the Detroit Division and have only 23% America born on it, it's obvious where the problem is.
