Ten bucks says there is nothing in the world that Snyder could do to change your opinion of him.

That's an uneducated bet for you that you'd lose.  But, unless Snyder starts walking the talk of "reinventing" Michigan instead of dabbling with roughly 18-20% of the state budget and merely jockeying it in Granholm fashion, you're right.

Blind hate for Snyder and blind hate for Muslims and blind hate for (INSERT YOUR PREFERRED HATRED HERE) is exactly the kinds of attitudes that need to change for Michigan or anywhere to do better.

Hate?  Blind too?  Really?  Nah, definitely not blind and I will call a spade a spade.  So do many others that chose not to bury their heads in the sand following the politically correct misguided lemmings that have brought this state and nation to the deplorable condition it's in.

Yes, this is Nick's site that he provided for everyone to contribute on, hence the saying "Collaborative Media for the Masses" in the browser header.  Jump aboard Matey and share your message of good governess.  Share your ideas.  RM is a big enough for everyone and has done very well in Nick's absence.

I personally think it speaks to Snyder's character that he wants to end complicated taxes and even take on a powerful voting bloc (pensioners) to do it. I don't know all the ins and outs of his plan but I've got a lot of respect for Posthumus and a bunch of other folks on Snyder's team. I'm willing to give him a shot before I just start trashing him.

Fair enough, just be advised that not everyone is you.  Many in this state were never for Snyder to begin with including who you have decided to go after on this blog in attempts to silence opinion.  That too speaks much of your character if character is going to be judged.

Again, post something here.  Show us the light.

I was not a Snyder supporter during the primary, but I have come to support his efforts generally.  If you polled, I am certain all who post here would answer "Yes!" to the question, "Do you want Governor Snyder to succeed in reinventing Michigan?"  Views would diverge over the precise steps to take, and it would be shocking if we all supported his initiatives across the board, but we all want Micigan to be a great state and we all believe that a firm adherence to conservative principles will make that happen.  

The areas of disagreement are what propel the discussion and make things interesting.

So, join in.  Let's hear what you have to say, and maybe someone will comment on your "blind love for Snyder and blind love for Muslims and blind love for (INSERT YOUR OBJECT OF AFFECTION HERE)."  Sounds pretty dumb, doesn't it?  But that's okay, too, because that's what the First Amendment is all about.
