      More and more I miss President Reagan and wonder what he would think of the mess we find ourselves in at the moment. I oft times wonder "What would Reagan do." More and more I wish he was still here and running the country. Then I remember, he is here. With us everyday. We who post here and who further the Conservative cause are his legacy, we are his political children and grandchildren. His ideas and beliefs were true to the country. Although some things have not changed he did give us the blueprint for success as a nation. The elites of the GOP that disparage us, disparaged him as well. But we loved him because he made us love ourselves. Made us proud to be Americans again by celebrating our accomplishments and our dedication to making a better tomorrow for all mankind. I for one would like to see this day deemed a National Holiday by proclamation of the people. It would be fitting that his likeness join the others on Mt. Rushmore.
      I don't believe we have yet realized his dream of what this country has within itself to be but we are trying.
      The one thing I do give thanks for nearly each and everyday is I thank God for the life of Ronald Wilson Reagan. Happy Birthday Mr. President. May the Lord bless you and keep you.
