    ....the merits of battery credits as a whole.  But these bills create a choice--keep the status quo which is a $100 million credit, or change the law to reduce it to $50 million.

    For those opposed to credits isn't $50 million better than $100 million?

    I know several senators that have consistently voted against all types of corporate welfare votes yes on this bill because of the two available options, a smaller credit was better than a larger credit.
