    Its all in how the questions are asked, WHOM is conducting the poll, and the party paying for it.

    And there are folks on both sides who would like for us to think certain things are set in stone, but for different reasons.

    I get the Rose colored glasses reference, but one might assign such a suggestion to Romney supporters, who like the Demorats, underestimated the true call for REAL change, not that which merely paints a pale pastel with conservative pinstriping over a candidate.

    Assuming those polls are correct, they are a snapshot in time of a good sample of the public as of those dates. If the election was December 6, 2011, then these polls would matter. At some point Perry and McCain led Obama in polls.

    Politics is fluid. Major issues change things quickly. TARP and Obamacare are two examples.

    I think Romney has too much Winfield Scott in him to win. In today's climate, you can't be all things to all people. I also think Bain Capital is going to doom him with all the layoff stories that are going to come out.

    Jobs is and will be the number one issue in this campaign.
