      1. The University of Michigan is brazenly defying federal laws regulating the release of classified information with regard to research in the engineering field.

      2. The United States Defense establishment is allowing the University of Michigan to publicly share military technologies with China, or simply doesn't care if any foreign national works on defense-related research.

      3. The University of Michigan is not sharing classified and/or military technologies with China, as Dr. Kauffman alleges.

      If you believe in possibilities 1 or 2, then you believe that there is something seriously wrong with our defense establishment because Kauffman's allegations are such that the United States doesn't protect military technologies and is actively allowing professors to lecture about sensitive information when they visit foreign universities.
